Nike Sportswear SP10 — Nike HTM2 Run Boot TZ: Born on the Track, Bred for the Street

Sometimes crossing the train platform can be as challenging as hiking Mt. Hood. Drawing on this insight, design super-group Hiroshi Fujiwara, Tinker Hatfield, Mark Parker and Mark Smith set out to revolutionize the traditional ankle boot for both style and performance. The process led them deep into Nike’s chest of running innovations and onto the track for some serious testing. After a year-and-a-half of rigorous testing, the result is the Nike HTM2 Run Boot.

Addressing the need for stability, flexibility and weatherproofing, the HTM2 incorporates Nike Free natural-motion technology combined with a lightweight, water-repellant, four-way-flexible upper. Details like the elastic gusset and pull straps nod to traditional Chelsea boot styling while notching up the functionality of the HTM2—slip it on, and it stays in place.

Form has been given no less consideration than function. The HTM2 Run Boot High’s slim top and low-profile grey colorway with volt/anthracite highlights allow for effortless pairing. The HTM2 Run Boot Low comes in four colorways: in black-on-black, neutral grey/white, black/white, dark obsidian/vivid pink and white. The design also enhances the easy-on, easy-off concept further. Both features a protective rubberized toe cap for durability and a spray-stenciled swoosh.

The Nike HTM2 Run Boot builds on the collaboration between Fujiwara, Hatfield and Parker that began in 2002 with the HTM Woven Boot. The second “M” of the HTM2 moniker stands for Jordan Brand Creative Director Mark Smith, who was invited to join the inner circle and bring to the table his expertise in crafting finely-detailed, premium footwear. Smith is known for his pioneering use of laser technology on Nike shoes, which has gained his designs a loyal following among sneaker aficionados.

Hiroshi Fujiwara is the founder of Fragment Design and is a global sportswear icon. Tinker Hatfield is recognized as one of the most innovative designers in the history of footwear. Mark Parker’s visionary leadership, while a member of Nike’s design team, earned him his current position as Nike CEO.

Put these four men in a room and something special is bound to happen. It’s this devotion to experimentation and the belief that there is always a way to improve on the past that caught the attention of Nike’s Innovation Kitchen during the Run Boot’s development. They are a hard bunch to please. The fit, comfort and performance provided by the HTM2 Run Boot put it in a class of its own.

The Nike HTM2 Run Boot is more than just a new-age sports boot, it is the culmination of efforts built up from years of radical ideas and visions of four of the greatest minds in footwear history. The sneaker Dream Team of Hiroshi Fujiwara, Tinker Hatfield, Mark Parker, and Mark Smith collaborated to produce a revolutionary ankle boot that combined classic style and new-age functionality, as they did with the Nike HTM Woven Boot in 2002.

The Nike HTM2 Run Boot, which Nike deems as “Born on the Track, Bred for the Street”, features a Nike Free grooved sole and a lightweight, water-repellant, four-way-flexibile upper while holding onto traditional Chelsea-boot design cues like the pull tabs and elastic gullet. The Run Boot Low arrives in four great colourways while the High comes in just one volt/anthracite color, and each features a protective toe-cap and a swoosh in a never-before-seen spray-stenciled design. The Nike HTM2 Run Boot is a Tier Zero release and will be available only in Japan and at 21 Mercer on February 20th and March 1st. Check out the collection of detailed images after the jump.

Gone Country

Friday, July 9th, 2010

I have always liked the country lifestyle and have always envied those who get to live it.  I was raised in a suburb and now live in the city with my hubby .  Nonetheless, we both have continually had the dream to live on a ranch growing our own produce and having lots of kids and animals.  It seems that we both want this so much that we have decided to go after it.  Maybe not on a large scale, like going out and purchasing a piece of land, but definitely on a small scale by starting to change our clothing and home decor .

My husband and I have wanted to buy UGG boots since we went to Colorado and got to go horse back riding.  Everyone out there was wearing them and spoke nothing but wonderful things about them.  So we finally each bought a pair as a gift to each other .  My Timberland boots have a little bit of color on them, but my husband’s boots are just plain brown.  He does not like to stand out as much as I do.  What he does not know is that I secretly ordered each of us UGG BOOTS.  I believe he is going to love it!

Like I mentioned before, we have started to change our house decorations as well to reflect a more country lifestyle.  We painted all of the rooms in our house in warm earth tones.  I also bought a lot of wooden decor .  So far I am loving how my house is looking .  I cannot wait to complete the transformation.  What I really cannot wait for is to have a lot of children that will be able to help my husband and I run the ranch , whenver we buy it that is.  I also cannot wait to buy a horse, because horses are not only my favorite animal but I’ll need one to get around on my perfect ranch .  It will be incredible !

Wedding Trend: Patriotic & Peacock Themed Weddings

Friday, July 9th, 2010

Let’s hear it for America, the Beautiful!  Or better yet, decorate your wedding with her glory!  One of the popular trends for summer weddings is to draw on the July 4th holiday, and go with the theme of patriotism. These weddings are not only fun and creative, they can also be absolutely gorgeous.

The possibilities are endless for incorporating these catchy colors into your wedding. From the dresses to the decorations to the cake, there is practically no area of your wedding that can’t be resplendent with patriotic pride.

Even if you’re not an over-the top observer of national holidays, the color scheme presents plenty of opportunities for expansion, creating a uniform theme throughout your wedding. In addition, decorations and favors in these colors are easy to find throughout the summer. For a post-4th of July wedding, many items can even be bought on clearance (if you want to wait until that close to your wedding!).

A few of the ways to incorporate these bright complimentary colors in your special day are in flowers (consider brightly-colored pomanders), bridesmaid dresses, your aisle runner, centerpieces, and in your wedding favors. This is a great theme with limitless possibilities for your special day. No one will for get a red, white, and blue wedding!

Peacock Themed Wedding

Your wedding is the one day when you can do whatever you like and no one can stop you. (Or at least, that’s what most brides like to hope.) The colors are yours to choose, and no doubt you’ve seen a million color schemes and wedding themes that you love. If you’re looking for something out of the ordinary, consider a peacock themed wedding. This bold fashion is becoming very popular, yet is unique and trendy.

The striking colors characteristic of peacocks make for an elegant wedding day. Imagine the blue, green, and gold oozing through your wedding day. These bold colors may seem a little out-of-the-ordinary for a wedding, but that’s because they are (although the trend is growing).

If you’re wondering how to achieve this fabulous look at your wedding, consider sticking peacock feathers in your bridesmaid’s bouquets; having a gold aisle runner; teal tablecloths; purple boutonnieres; the list goes on and on. The only limitation on your wedding day is your own imagination, and with the internet even that is almost limitless.

Your wedding day is all about you, and it should reflect your style and fashion. Bold colors and bright themes, the possibilities are at your fingertips. Use your imagination, and create a wedding day that neither you, your new spouse, or your guests will ever forget.

Cheap Ties Don’t Have To Look Cheap

Friday, July 9th, 2010

If your job  requires you wear a  tie to work everyday and you want to have more then 3 ties because you know your office co-workers will start to notice , or you have a job in the food service industry and anybody you has ever work as server knows  your ties are going to get ruined if not today soon..

A lot of men cringe over the idea of spending tens of dollars and in many cases hundreds of dollars on one good tie. That is because they associate a well made tie with a high price tag. They are not wrong. You really do get what you pay for. Let’s face it,

How does one buy cheap ties from designer brands, and not a Chinese manufacture one

We are talking Italian silk. From  high end hand crafted tie which is well made and with care will last a lifetime! One doesn’t have to compromise quality for price

The best way to buy  designer cheap ties is on ebay or any one who buys from a liquidation company…  How does purchasing for a liquidation company work

When purchasing from liquidation companies, or when purchasing liquidated products (shelf pulls, closeouts, return goods), these are usually purchased in bulk pallet loads. The products that are on these bulk pallet loads are mixed meaning that there are different types of products and varying in quantities. Even if you have the same type of product, you may find that the products on the pallet are from different manufacturers, in different conditions and different quantities.
So shop online at ebay, because there is a lot of abandon ties, from retail store that just could not make the cut and ended up a liquidation warehouse looking for a home

If you would like to purchase lots of 2-5 designer cheap times visit gmjsales.com

diamond and settings

Friday, July 9th, 2010

The term’fancy’is applied to any nonstandard setting method. Fancy settings are often used to set unusually shaped stones, and can involve cleverly devised solutions that may utilize several different setting techniques.

Combination settings

When more than one type of setting is used to secure a stone, it is known as a combination setting. These might involve half the stone being supported by a collet while two wire prongs secure the other side, or a rub-over setting that has been partly carved to form prongs that are grained at the tip. The metals used in such settings in jewelry fashion should be strong enough to hold the set stone securely. The methods of setting may be dictated by the fashion jewelry form and the position in which the stones are placed; remember that stones do not have to be set in a traditional marmer and can be placed upside down, on their sides or back to back; the only restriction is that they are securely held.

Spectacle setting in fashion jewelry

A spectacle setting is used to hold spectacle lenses in position, without chipping the edges. It con-sists of a frame with an internal groove for the edge of the lens to sit in, with a cut in it that can be closed with a rivet or screw thread, that passes through two small sections of attached tubing. The closing of the gap exerts a small, but equally disrributed, force around the edge of the lens, and reduces the chances of it being chipped or cracked during serting (see page 250 for a dem-onstration of spectacle setting).Spectacle settings are useful for setting glass, stones, cloisonné work or metal discs that cannot be soldered, and are not limited to being round in form.

Tension setting

Tension setting uses the strength of work-hard-ened metal to hold a srone in position, often herween the cut ends of a ring shank. Silver is not hard enough to maintain the tension, so gold, platinum, palladium or tiranium should be used. A groove or recess to fit rhe stone is cut in each end of the pieces of metal, and the gap between the ends is closed to a smaller distance than the diameter of the stone. When the ring is forced up a mandrei, the gap will open enough to allow die stone to be inserted and, once the ring is released from the mandrei, the stone will be permanently set. Hard stones that are not sensitive to pressure or prone to fracture are most suitable for this type of setting.Other methods for setting stones There are a number of ways of approaching stone setting from a nontraditional angle, using metal and other materials to explore techniques that can be used to secure stones permanently without damaging them. When using metal, cold-joining techniques such as riveting or screw threads can be employed to trap stones in confined spaces. Laser weiding can also be userul – ideal for cages and applying settings to forms where soldering may cause com-plications. Some stones are not sensitive to heat and can actually be soldered in position — cubic zirconia, diamond, garnet, ruby and sapphire can all be used in this way — but the stones must be allowed to cool very slowly as any sudden change in temperature can cause them to crack. This technique should not be used with stones of any value, and the colour of heat-treated stones will be affected by further heating; in any case, stones should never be directly heated. You can find specially grown laboratory gems that are completely heat resistant, and their colours will remain stable. Stones can also be incorporated into wax models so that they are cast into position – remember not to quench the piece, other-wise the stone will shatter, and cover enough of the stone so that it will remain in position when the wax is burned out. Heat-resistant stones can be embedded in precious metal clay forms before they are fired.Adhesives can be used to place stones on or in a form; some adhesives are crystal-clear, and so will not show. Stones can be set in polyester resin, whether clear or dyed.

Football And High Blood Pressure

Thursday, July 8th, 2010

The laws of blood pressure can be compared to the laws of waves in an ocean. It is difficult to measure their strength and the exact time of arrival. Similarly, the causes of the high blood pressure are till today a mystery. Serious guessing is going on, but nothing is known. But one thing is certain. When you have an attack of high blood pressure you feel awful. Given the background of its misdeeds, that it is capable of making you paralytic, give heart diseases and heart attacks, result in failure of kidneys, it is most feared. It needs to be taken care off well in time. Why not try the methods of recreation?

Should you control your physical activities if you are a blood pressure patient? Not at all. The control is required elsewhere. What are the reasons for you to have high blood pressure? You are the best judge of it. It is taught in the college of self education, where your mind is your Principal. Your doctor can give his opinion on the basis of the data that you are going to provide to him.

Being a high blood pressure patient, can you play football? As man of positive thought, I would say, emphatically yes, so put on one of your favourite football shirts and start playing, if your blood pressure is due to stress. Stress is one of the major causes of blood pressure. And football is such a wonderful game, to beat it.

The beauty of the game of soccer is that, this game provides you 90 minutes of great physical and mental activity. It is a fast moving and quick thinking game. You have many opponents to tackle and you can only use your feet and head to hit the ball. There are moves and counter moves, push and pulls, the shouts and the applause from the gallery, the dominant will to score goals and win. So many important emotions are involved in the game of soccer.

This brisk activity of football washes off most of the impurities within your body in the form of perspiration. Therefore, you see majority, nay all of the soccer players hale and hearty and possess excellent stamina. If they have temporary hypertension, it may be due to their team not scoring the goal, and if once the objective is achieved, you can see the cheerful disposition in their smiling faces, with no pressure at all!

It is pleasure instead especially if you are like me and like to wear Real Madrid football shirts.
